31 Days Of Jillian.

Spooky - spooky!  Halloween is upon us and I can't think of anything more scarier than committing 31 days to that witch Jillian Michaels.  From October 1st - October 31st, Fit Camp is hosting a 31 days of Jillian Challenge.  During which time you can pick your poison - whether it be the 30 Day Shred (30DS), Ripped in 30 (RI30), Yoga Meltdown, or any of her other DVDs.  The goal is to do one of her workouts each and everyone of the 31 days.  You can track your progress on this handy dandy calendar I created.  I also encourage you to go out and purchase some Halloween stickers for you to place on the calendar after completing each work out.
I completed the 30DS last month (you can read about it here), I am currently on level three of RI30, and I also have Kickbox FastFix.  So my personal plan of attack is to just do a different workout each day to keep things fresh.  One day, I may do one of the kickboxing options and the next level 2 of the 30DS. 

I also ask that each and every person participating in the challenge take pictures before, halfway, and at the completion of the challenge.  Even if you are not comfortable sharing the photos with the group, you will be so glad you have them for your own personal reflection.  Lastly, please share your plan of attack, progress, and photos of your calendar under the Fit Camp's event section where I set up an event for this challenge.

To kick of this event, I am giving away more free shit.  I purchased all of my Jillian propaganda from Target so I picked up two $25 Target gift cards and two packs of stickers to give away to two lucky challenge participants.
My intention for these gift cards is for the winners can add to their Jillian collection - whether it be a new DVD, weights, mat....etc.  To throw your hat in you must follow this blog, pin or share this post on facebook, and leave me a comment stating which one of the two you did.  In addition, you must include something in your comment relative to this challenge.  I will choose my two favorite comments and the gift cards and stickers will go to those individuals.  I will announce the winners on the blog sometime this Sunday (9/23).

I hope you decide to join us, I can't think of any better way to prepare for all those treats that will soon be upon us!

  7. Hii. I posted this on fb. I have JM 30 ds. I have only made it to level 2 before i quit and turned to billy blanks. Since then ive lost 17.5 pounds ive very excited to try again. . My daughter loves Jillian too. She's 9yo and tries to workout with me. She is Not fan of squats already lol. Good luck everyone!!!

  13. I follow the blog and I cant wait to start. I only have 30DS and my plan of attack is to put on 3 pieces of paper 1,2, & 3 and put them in a bowl. Then every day I draw and # and that's how Jillian will work me! Each day will hopefully be different and there wont be a calendar to stare at think oh man i have tackle level....today.

So I'm standing in front of my TV thinking, it's 24 minutes, no way will this be enough time to work out... Good gravy, I couldn't move my arms this morning... and I can actually feel my ab muscles (haven't felt those in at least 6 years!)... So excited for this challenge!!

Now following your blog and I pinned the challenge!I'm excited...I did 30 Day shred in June and dropped a size and did it again in August and I dropped another pant size now I wear a size 8 Hell Fuck Yeah Bitches!!! This time around I'm doing Ripped in 30 and 6 week Abs. My Vag is totally in love with Jillian, because of her she has been getting a lot of action.   25. Watch out ladies - I am following, committed and by October 31st, Jillian will be MY bitch!

    I bought the 30DS 2 years ago after DS turned one and I stopped nursing - ashamed to say it is still in the plastic wrap collecting dust. I just had my second (and last!) baby in February, so thanks for being the motivation I need to get my ass in gear. I am going on a tropical vacation this winter and this challenge will kick start my flab to fab for vaca!

    Oh- and I will be tackling a huge fear and posting BEFORE pics (GASP!!) to add that extra bit of accountability!

  29. I am now following this blog. Commitment and I have always had issues. Ask my exhusband (well maybe commitment was his issue) LOL. This fit camp has kept me going when I have stopped in the past. I blame the weight on my baby she is 17...well actually it is still her fault I was skinny before bhahahahah!
    I'm ready to may Jillian my biotch....that's right I said it! She will want to make out with me after she see's my after photos! I've already started new stuff like yoga,pilaties,and spinning (insert major anger towards this class)

I have the 30 day shred and today I am going to go get another of her DVD's.I have never been so motivated in my life until I heard about ML and started reading her blog. Then through her I found all the ladies on ML camp fit and the support and encouragement is amazing. I am now excited to continue fighting this battle i have with weight loss and I will win. (FAIL) Then I stalked you on the biggest loser becasue I still thought you were the baddest ass trainer ever--even if I couldnt hack it when it came to your DVD's...I follow your facebook page and havent watched Biggest Loser since you left because its just not the same...Well guess what...I am coming for you this time--with my new found friends here at MLFitCamp--we are all gonna take on your DVD series for the month of October and at the end you will be OUR bitch!--there will be yelling and sweat and likely a few tears (especially if I make it to my goal weight)...but the difference is this time I wont give up...I am too strong this time...and when I am not (I have 5000+ ladies standing behind me)"

    Anyways, I am so PUMPED for this challenge because I have a love/hate relationship with JM. Her workouts kick my ass and I HATE it but I love the feeling of being sore the next day! If I was a lesbian I would totally move to LA, get really buff and then try out for one of her workout DVDs so I could meet her and get her to run away with me bahahaha. But I'm not so I will settle with just doing her workout DVDs and having a girl crush on her.

    Can't wait to get my ass kicked every day. I'm going to be alternating 30DS and the kickboxing one in addition to C25k 4-5 days a week. Got the color run on Oct 27!

She is doing the 30 Day Shred and I have done one day of Ripped in 30. I even have recruited my 7 year old to get in on the action.     I'm really excited for this challenge. I tried to do 30DS in September, but got sidetracked a couple of times (but I'm finishing strong!). I'm so excited about it that even though I'm on vacation the first week of October, but I'm going to actually take my weights & DVD with me so I can do it while my son naps in the early afternoons. I'll take pictures and measurements and we'll see if I can see a difference!

  67. I followed the blog. I will be happy to continue my Jillian workouts. I finished 30ds and I am on week 3 of ripped. I will have a few days left on level 4 when this starts but I was looking for a new workout anyways when I was done so I guess I will have to make a trip to target or walmart and see what else Jillian has to offer me :o) I have the yoga meltdown but not one of my favs and I like her fast paced stuff a little more! So excited to continue my journey!

I am in charge of getting it together. I was having a hard time coming up with ideas for what we could do together as a group. I came across this from mama L's blog. And I immediately loved the idea and shared this with them. We are taking the Jillian Challenge! I am so happy we found something to do together as a group. I also encouraged them to follow this blog and Mama L's blog. Mama L has been very inspiring to me. I have been doing Jillian Michaels body revolution, I started Phase 3, Week 9 today! It is getting rough. I decided I am going to buy Jillian Michaels Killer buns and thighs for what are supposed to be my rest days from JMBR. I would also like to try Ripped in 30!

    My son is going to be 2 in November and I still have 7 pounds of baby weight I need to lose! I am so upset with myself that it has taken me this long to get motivated to lose that weight.

(Those effing walking push-ups...making me feel like a pregnant elephant, and I've never even been pregnant...) I am 39 years old and have never felt so ashamed and unfit in my whole life (and that's saying something!). I am 5'2 and 190 lbs. I started C25K this week and i think this shred will be a great accompanyment to that program. Thank you for this challenge! Looking forward to doing it along side all of you!!

  96. I just started following this blog yesterday thanks to Mama Laughlin. I received Jillian's 30DS today via Netflix and am kinda scared but am doing the workout tonight.   97. I just started following the blog today after reading the guest post on Mama Laughlin's page. So glad I did! I am so excited and scared about starting this 30 day challenge. I have been working on hard on getting in my workouts since starting strong this past Tuesday; however, I struggle with an autoimmune disease and there are days where it is almost impossible for me to workout. But I'm not giving up because I want to prove to myself that I can do it. I know I have the support of the group and a close friend. If I have to miss a workout I'll just try to do two another day or just extend my challenge. So glad to have run across Mama Laughlin's blog because it has started and changed so much in my life! THANKS and I am so going to pin this to share with my friends!

  98. I've had a YMCA membership for months now in hopes of losing 30 lbs and haven't used it. Then why am I so excited to do this challenge in my living room? Because I know you all, Mama and Mama's Fit Club will be there right along with me. I am scared shitless but ready to give it a try. I haven't bought a fitness video since the late 90's. (Did I just say video?? do they even make those anymore?? ugg! I'm getting old!)I might even be more psyched about the stickers than anything! PICK ME! HELP! I'M SCARED! EEK! (biting nails.)

  100. I am now following your blog and I linked this post to my Facebook page. Today I also joined Mama's Fit Camp (after reading your guest post on her blog) and to top it all off... I rejoined Weight Watchers today. I am determined to do it for real this time. I am a busy mom, wife and principal of a large elementary school. My district has issued a fitness challenge to all employees and I am not a good role model for staff, students or my family. When I started teaching in 1987 I was size 4... I am now a size 24, weight 266 and am only 5'5. I am reading to do this or die trying! Thanks for the great motivation. I'd love to win a Target gift card... I'm on my way there to get the DVD.

    Not only am I going to be doing the 30 Day Shred (by watching it on YouTube because I don't have the DVDs), but I'll be doing some cardio at the gym. I can't wait for my legs to look as good as yours do in my hooker shoes (purple 5 inch heels I also got from Target!) Keep it up girl!!!

  118. Did the 30DS in August and have been doing C25K and focusing more on running in September to get ready for the Race for the Cure 5k Oct. 14th. I am ready for the 5k now, so I want to step it back up with Jilian. This is the challenge I needed. I recently bough 6 week 6 pack, killer buns and thighs, and no more trouble zones, so I will mix it up between those and I plan on also running during days when I do shorter Jillian videos so I don't lose all my hard work there. Hoping it pays off despite the fact I am pretty sure some halloween candy will be eaten!
